System design and development:
architecture definition, supplier selection, system requirementsEnsure that the FBW system complies with relevant aviation standards (ARP 4754A, ARP 4761) and regulations (Part 25, Issue papers, etc.)Design and implement safety monitoring for the FBW System, including fault detection, isolation and input selection algorithm.Oversee the system integration of the FBW system and integration within the aircraft with the other systems.Conduct rigorous testing and validation to verify system performanceWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and guidance. And you are curious about the engineering that makes it possible.ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.Minimum 15 years in experience in system or verification of Part 25 FBW flight controls, or other critical aircraft systems.Experience with software tools such as Mathworks Matlab and Simulink preferred. Good knowledge of ARP4754 development processes and experience with DO-331 for model-based design is an asset.Experience with system dynamics, aerodynamics, Control Laws and handling qualities evaluation is an asset.Salary Range:
