Lab Tech
Responsibilities:
Be part of a fast-growing, private label, vitamin manufacturing company headquartered in Lakewood, NJ.
Works an agreed upon, set work schedule of 20 - 30 hours per week.
Preforms routine quality analysis testing on various products to ensure the integrity and quality of material.
Focus:
High-performance liquid chromatography Set-up and conducts High Performance Liquid Chromatography, HPLC, method testing, validation and analysis on product.
Performs Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) testing to identify chemical bonds in a molecule by producing an infrared absorption spectrum and analysis.
Performs Disintegration testing to validate how quickly tablets break down into smaller particles.
Documents all lab samples and maintains inhouse retained sample program, enters data and results accordingly.
Completes entries in lab notebooks and prepares lab reports for product release.
Lab Tech Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited US college or university, preferably in Chemistry or similarly related science field.
At least two (2) years of prior lab experience from another FDA regulated manufacturing setting is required Ability to strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Procedures, GMPs.
Must be willing and able to work a consistent, agreed upon, work schedule of 20 - 30 hours per week.
Local candidates only, residency beyond 25 miles outside Lakewood would not be feasible for part-time hours.
