OVERVIEW Crestron is looking for a Director, Product Manager who will drive a cross functional team to help build world class products and services around video collaboration and the modern workplace. As a Director, Product Management you will be responsible for managing a team in charge of lifecycle management of new and existing products and services within Crestron's Unified Communications portfolio. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Development and Product Managers in other business units to gather requirements, define product strategy, execute, launch and drive adoption of your products within the enterprise. You have extensive experience in partner/vendor management and have demonstrated an ability to manage those relationships across the business. You will work with a great group of talented engineers and fellow product managers and will have the opportunity to interact closely with different teams at all levels within Crestron. To be successful in this role you must be a critical thinker who can generate ideas and concepts as well as find solutions to real world problems for our customers. This position requires a can-do attitude with a strong bias for action and cross functional collaboration. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop product plans, roadmaps, and business cases for new products and services that will position the company as a premier technology solutions provider in the unified communications and video collaboration space. Define market requirements for feature, functionality and customer experience including market validation. Engage with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and launch new products and features. Manage the product portfolio as a P&L owner. Manage lifecycle strategies associated with your product portfolio. Identify opportunities within the enterprise space to differentiate our offerings by working with other product managers in different business units to deliver end-to-end technology solutions to address the needs of the enterprise workplace. Develop and implement go-to market strategies that will ensure forecasted product revenue and margin are achieved. Develop core positioning and messaging for the products in addition to sales and marketing collateral in conjunction with the marketing team to enable the sales force. Research and respond to industry trends, competitive offerings, and potential disruptors within the UC space. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred). Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management roles. Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive outcomes. Demonstrated success defining and launching new products. Demonstrated track record in working with external partners to deliver market solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
